We support the needs of our Japanese clients through leveraging the Bank’s extensive network as well as through two dedicated Japan desks, located in New York and London, which cover their branches based in the American and European markets.
In Japan, Crédit Agricole CIB has a strong track record in cross border advisory services, as well as in short and medium term financing in Japanese yen (JPY) and other currencies.
The Bank is a major player in the fields of project, export and trade finance, supporting large local and global corporates in their investments and projects overseas, often working closely with Japanese Export Credit Agencies. Our local franchise has also a wealth of experience in real assets financings, notably in the aviation and real estate sectors.
In addition to financing services, the Bank provides investments solutions and portfolio diversification to investors. As a well-established foreign bank, Crédit Agricole CIB is a leading house in global markets solutions relying on a solid platform active in flow products, derivatives and hedging solutions both in JPY and foreign currencies, and in debt capital markets. In particular, we are a Primary Dealer of Japanese Government Bonds (JGBs) and a member of the Japan Securities Clearing Corporation for JPY Interest Rate Swaps (IRS).
