Based in London, Atul will oversee the development of the Bank’s UK franchise. He will also join the Bank’s Management Committee. <title-block>Ian Harcourt – Senior Country Officer for the Nordic region</title-block>Ian Harcourt is appointed Senior Country Officer for the Nordic region, as of 1st September 2024. Based in Stockholm, Ian will lead the business activities in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. In March 2018 Atul was appointed Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Corporates, based in Paris. Encounter with EDF, a key player in the energy transition

There was strong appetite from regional and international investors with the orderbook peaking at US$4.6 billion, an oversubscription of 4.6x. Allocation was finalized with an average split of 70% to international investors and 30% to MENA investors. The USD1 billion proceeds from the issuance will be deployed to fund Masdar’s equity commitments on new Greenfield projects, several in developing economies, as the company pursues a target portfolio renewable energy capacity of 100GW by 2030. Highlighting the delivery of its commitments under the company’s Green Finance Framework, Masdar recently published its 2023 Green Finance Report detailing the allocation and environmental impact of its debut green bond. Masdar was supported by Crédit Agricole CIB in the preparation of the Green Finance Report, and the allocation and impact metrics benefit from an independent limited assurance report by Ernst and Young.  <a @href="Quote1">Quote1</a></body>

<body>On July 18th, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC – Masdar, the UAE’s clean energy champion, raised USD1 billion through its second green bond under its Green Finance Framework, which received the highest possible rating from Moody’s of SQS1.</body>

Palazzo Verospi and Galleria Sciarra, which house the offices of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - the administrative structure that assists the Italian Prime Minister - and the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority (Autorità Nazionale Anti Corruzione). Crédit Agricole CIB is named The Banker’s Sustainable FIG Financing and Sustainable SSA Financing House

<body>This marks the first ever green issuance by a Sovereign issuer from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, and represents the largest ever Green offering by a Sovereign issuer from the Central and Eastern Europe Middle East and Africa (CEEMA) region. Crédit Agiriole CIB acted as Global Coordinator and Joint Green Coordinator on State of Qatar’s inaugural green bond.   The transaction comprised two tranches: <ul><li>a USD 1.0 billion 5-year Green bond which priced at UST +30bps (all in yield of 4.739%) </li><li>a USD 1.5 billion 10-year Green bond which priced at UST +40bps (all in yield of 4.818%). </li></ul>The aggregate orderbook attracted over USD 14 billion of high-quality orders, allowing Qatar to price its issuance at the lowest ever pricing spread levels on a public offering from the CEEMEA region for both respective tenors. The final pricing reflected a 40bps tightening in pricing as compared to the initial price levels communicated as the books opened. Despite sizable price revisions and the final tight pricing levels, the strong demand from investors allowed the State to upsize the transaction to a total of USD 2.5 billion, which is the largest ever Green offering by a Sovereign issuer from the CEEMEA region. This offering highlights the global fixed income investor community’s appreciation of Qatar’s robust credit story. In addition, it highlights the strong reception of the newly established Green Financing Framework, where we witnessed a strong participation from ESG investors across regions in the offering.  The transaction, which is the first ever green issuance by a Sovereign issuer from the GCC region, was preceded by the publication of the State of Qatar Inaugural Sovereign Green Financing Framework. The Framework was established in accordance with the highest international standards and is aligned with the Green Bond Principles issued by the International Market Association (ICMA). The Framework entails eight Eligible Green Project Categories, and the proceeds from the transaction will aide Qatar to contribute to meet its National Climate Change Action Plan (QNCCAP), and its National Environment and Climate Change Strategy (QNE).<a @href="Quote">Quote</a>  </body>
