Crédit Agricole CIB has supported AMPIN Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd. (AMPIN) in the re-financing of their 135-megawatt peak (MWp) commercial and industrial solar power plant in Rajasthan, India.

Established in 2016, AMPIN is India’s leading renewable energy transition company, with a total portfolio of 5 gigawatt (GW) spreading across 23 states in the country and a target to reach 25 GW by 2030.
This large-scale solar project has equity investment not only from AMPIN, but also from Crédit Agricole CIB’s long-standing Danish client Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP). Operational since 2023, it has secured a long-term power purchase agreement with Amazon, the largest corporate purchaser of renewable energy globally.
In this INR-denominated facility, Crédit Agricole CIB has arranged the re-financing package acting as the Sole Structuring Bank, as well as Joint Green Loan Coordinator, Mandated Lead Arranger, Lender, and Hedging Bank.
This project is another testimony of Crédit Agricole CIB’s continued commitment to supporting India's transition to a more sustainable and low-carbon future.

“We deeply appreciate the partnership and support that Crédit Agricole CIB brings to the table through this relationship. We hope to strengthen it further in coming years!”
