RPA is also developing in the banking world! RPA was born in 2017 in the Operations department of Crédit Agricole CIB. Since then, we have been rolling out many process optimisation initiatives to improve its operational efficiency and thus improve its client experience. Between Bots and Artificial Intelligence, RPA is the manipulation of breakthrough technologies in an innovative universe. At Crédit Agricole CIB, there are also teams of professionals and enthusiasts working in a stimulating environment.

Members of staff provide assistance with project management... they are real Business Analysts and/or Project Managers.

How?

Their role revolves around three major activities:

  • Collecting the teams' needs and studying the functional feasibility of installing a robot. RPA is not always the perfect solution, they might suggest other processes and/or other technologies linked to RPA or not.
  • Ensuring the quality and sustainability of the existing robots through continuous improvement.
  • Keeping an eye on new technologies that are useful or complementary to RPA.

« In the team, working with RPA gives meaning to our work because the robots help the business lines with their everyday tasks. There is a real operational benefit as the teams that use robots save time. The needs are varied and because they concern all operational sectors, we learn something new every day. It's difficult to get bored. »

Brice LAMPA, RPA Project Manager
