Hervé Leroux has been appointed Head of the Crédit Agricole group's Midcaps Division, effective 1st December 2025.
Hervé Leroux has been appointed Head of the Crédit Agricole group's Midcaps Division, effective 1st December 2025. In this capacity, he reports to Jean-François Balaÿ, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole CIB, and joins the Management Committee.
Fully aligned with the Medium-Term Plan of both the Group and Crédit Agricole CIB, the Mid-Cap Division aims at strengthening Crédit Agricole’s positioning in the French mid-cap market, supporting the local networks of the Regional Banks and LCL. Internationally, its role is to support French mid-cap companies in their development by relying on the International Support Division (PAI).
BIOGRAPHY
Hervé Leroux began his career in 1987 within the Sovac – Credipar Group, where he held various positions before becoming Branch Manager. He then specialised in the automotive leasing sector, first with BNP Paribas Leasing in 1995 and subsequently Cetelem Automobile in 2002. He joined the Crédit Agricole Group in 2005 as Marketing Director at Crédit Agricole Leasing.
From 2008 to 2015, Hervé Leroux held the positions of Head of Corporate, Institutional and Public Sector Clients, as well as Head of Wealth Management Clients at Crédit Agricole S.A. He then joined Crédit Agricole Val de France Regional Bank as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. In 2020, he returned to Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring as Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
Hervé Leroux holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Sorbonne Paris North University.
