Crédit Agricole CIB helps clients fuel growth

Tricor Holdings Limited’s US$1.876 billion loan was voted as the winner of the Syndicated Deal of the Year 2023, at the Asia-Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA) based on votes from its members. The deal is the largest Euro-denominated Asian leveraged loan in 2023, and one of the largest ever transaction as such originated in Asia. Crédit Agricole CIB is a Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner for this transaction. 

The APLMA is a loan association that gathers all loan-financing experts in Asia-Pacific with the objective of promoting growth and best practice in the syndicated loan markets. This remarkable recognition signifies the Bank’s expertise in syndicated deals among the best regional industry experts.

In addition, the Tricor loan was also named Sponsored-backed Deal of the Year. Two other loan deals supported by Crédit Agricole CIB also recognised in the APLMA awards this year, namely:

• Corporate Acquisition Finance Deal of the Year – Orora Limited (US$1.228 billion)
  Crédit Agricole CIB supported this acquisition financing as a Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner, leveraging the experience that Crédit Agricole SA Group affiliates had lending to the acquired company, Saverglass SA. 
• Syndicated Project Finance Deal of the Year and Renewable Deal of the Year – Hai Long 2 & 3 offshore wind project (US$2.976 billion)
  A club deal led by the Energy & Real Assets team.
