The Crédit Agricole Group celebrates 50 Years of Commitment in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

This year marks a significant milestone for the Crédit Agricole Group: 50 years of presence in the United Arab Emirates. This anniversary celebrates half a century of trust, partnership, and unwavering dedication to the region's economic development.

Our journey in the UAE began in the 1970s with the opening of our first branch in Dubai, followed by the opening of Abu Dhabi Representative Office. Over the years, we have grown alongside the region's economic and financial transformation, continuously strengthening our presence and diversifying our offerings to meet the changing needs of our clients. Most recently, in 2024, we extended our Kepler Cheuvreux partnership in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) to the MENA region, further strengthening our regional capabilities.

On Thursday 27 November, we hosted a private cocktail reception to commemorate this milestone with our valued clients and partners. This event brought together the three Crédit Agricole Group entities operating in the region- Amundi, Indosuez Wealth Management and Crédit Agricole CIB - reflecting the breadth and depth of our commitment to the UAE. Jérôme Grivet, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A. opened the event, alongside His Excellency Nicolas Niemtchinow, Ambassador of France to the UAE. It was an opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all those who have placed their trust in us.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain fully committed to supporting the ambitions of our clients in the UAE and across the region. Together, we look forward to building the next chapter of this story, one that continues to be defined by partnership, innovation, and shared success.
