Crédit Agricole CIB is pleased to announce its role as Financial Advisor, Bookrunner, Mandated Lead Arranger and Hedge Provider on Project Toro 3, a €730m financing for Sonnedix.
The transaction covers the refinancing of 540 MW of solar PV capacity and two co-located battery energy storage (BESS) assets located across Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.
Signed on 28 July 2026, Project Toro 3 represents the second accordion facility of the Toro platform, following the landmark €2.5bn Project Toro 1 (2024) Will open in a new tab and the €1.3bn Project Toro 2 (2025), on both of which Crédit Agricole CIB also served as Financial Advisor and Bookrunner.
This transaction reinforces Crédit Agricole CIB's commitment to financing the European energy transition and its expertise in large-scale renewable energy and green finance. It also highlights the enduring partnership between Crédit Agricole CIB and Sonnedix, built on a shared ambition to accelerate the shift towards a sustainable, low-carbon future.
