Prominent derivatives-focused publication Risk.net has recognised Crédit Agricole CIB with three major accolades: RMB House of the Year, Derivatives House of the Year for Hong Kong, and Derivatives House of the Year for South Korea at the 2026 Risk Asia Awards — reflecting the Bank's exceptional market expertise across these sectors. This marks the second consecutive year the Bank has been recognised as Derivatives House of the Year for Hong Kong and South Korea, and it regains the RMB House of the Year award, which it last won in 2024.
A leading connector bridging China's domestic markets with the global financial community
Crédit Agricole CIB was among the first batch of banks to post offshore RMB-denominated Chinese government bonds (CGBs) as collateral with global clearing house LCH, reinforcing its mission to leverage RMB collateral from Chinese partners and facilitate integration with worldwide financial markets. In addition, Crédit Agricole CIB was the first foreign bank to accept the use of offshore CGBs as collateral in non-centrally cleared derivatives transaction, innovatively expanding the international application scenarios for CGBs.
Connectivity is key to our achievement in the RMB market as we enhance the cross-border language between onshore and offshore markets, across products, infrastructure, custody and collateral.

Patrick Wu
Head of Macro and Co-head of Trading for Asia Pacific and the Middle East, Crédit Agricole CIB
Building on this connectivity advantage, the Bank has broadened its hedging product suite for Chinese issuers. Crédit Agricole CIB continues to expand the pathways for international capital to flow into China's domestic market. As one of few banks permitted to operate across borders in Offshore Chinese Yuan (CNH), the Bank’s now provide pricing on global Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs) through the China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) in direct transactions with onshore banks.
The Bank remains committed to initiatives that integrate China's domestic financial system with international markets, demonstrated through involvement in Bond Connect and Swap Connect programmes.
Sustained market standing in Asia's G3 bond sector through the Hong Kong office
In 2025, Crédit Agricole CIB placed third among Hong Kong dollar bond underwriters, managing approximately US$10 billion across 166 transactions.

The Hong Kong franchise functions as a cornerstone for the Bank's regional cross-border activities. From this hub, Crédit Agricole CIB manages its CNH and FX operations and has made substantial investments in bridging international financial centres with China's domestic system.
These recent engagements underscore the strength of Crédit Agricole CIB 's Debt Capital Markets (DCM) presence in Hong Kong, built through landmark transactions including a HK$19 billion multi-tranche issuance for Airport Authority Hong Kong, which is the largest ever Hong Kong dollar public bond offering and an HK$18.8 billion multi-tranche bond offering for MTR Corporation.
Winning these mandates was not just about our distribution capability. It was also about the strength of our integrated platform across primary and secondary markets. Our focus is on enhancing that ecosystem and continuing to build on what we have already done to better service our clients.
