The two key industry accolades are a shot in the arm for the Bank as we continue to strive to deliver the best we could to serve clients.

For the third consecutive year, Asia Risk recognises us as Derivatives House of the Year, Hong Kong (formerly named “House of the Year, Hong Kong”) for our commitment to providing for tailored client solutions including market access to carter for their evolving trading needs. We pride ourselves in bringing values to the Hong Kong market by serving as an interface between Hong Kong, mainland China, and also the other parts of the world, particularly for European markets where the Bank’s fixed income experience demonstrate an edge.

Our green commitment and expertise is also one of the winning factors for the Hong Kong House. We have taken part in a couple of ‘firsts’ when it comes to ESG in Hong Kong. In February, the Bank participated in the issuance of Hong Kong’s first tokenised green bond, conducted under the Green Bond Framework that the government had set up. We also executed the first dual-tranche Hong Kong dollar and CNH social bond issued by a quasi-sovereign investor, the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation.

Over the past year, Crédit Agricole CIB’s trading team are in the driving seat for structured product innovation in Asia Pacific and Renminbi developments. From Central Counterparty (CCP) Basis swaps to the recently launched Swap Connect programme, Crédit Agricole CIB understands timeliness and staying close to market trends is essential for providing clients with a full-spectrum of services. Through product innovation and close partnership with regulatory bodies, Crédit Agricole CIB prepares for the future by building trading infrastructures ahead of time, and helps clients capitalise opportunities in the regional and global market.

Our efforts in talent development in Hong Kong is also a key determinant of the success. Crédit Agricole CIB recognises the power of talents, and has invested in a strong junior talent program, hired talents from local universities, and prepared them for the future.

"These fantastic outcomes were the result of teamwork across Trading, Sales and Coverage, but also from client servicing, ESG teams, and all the teams that have contributed to the enhancement and transformation of the Bank’s infrastructure. Thanks also to those who have facilitated the recruitment and development of talents, whom we have all shared the same ambition. Our commitment to deliver on clients’ need will continue to be our driving force in the years to come."
