FinanceAsia recognises Crédit Agricole CIB in three house award categories

The Bank is awarded the following accolades in the FinanceAsia Awards 2023:

• Best International Investment Bank in Hong Kong SAR
• Best International Sustainable Bank in mainland China and South Korea

The Bank is consistently ranked one of the top Hong Kong dollar and Dim Sum bond issuing banks, as well as a top Renminbi trading house. As part of the Crédit Agricole Group’s ambition in accompanying clients in its sustainability transition journey, the Bank introduced complementary green refinancing tool ‘green repo’ to the market. Upon the successful green repo introduction, last year, the Bank completed two reverse green repos with Industrial Bank and Bank of China (Hong Kong).

For nine consecutive years from 2013 to 2022, Crédit Agricole CIB is the number-one bookrunner for global green, social, sustainability and sustainability-linked bonds. During the first four months of 2023 alone, the Bank advised landmark sustainable finance deals including the world’s first tokenized green bond offering by a government for the Hong Kong SAR, and Korea’s first gender equality social bond for Shinhan Bank.
