We are very proud to announce that Global Finance has awarded Crédit Agricole CIB as the “Best Bank in Export Finance” at a global scale, among “the World's Best Trade Finance Providers 2024”.

The ceremony was held during the BAFT Europe Bank to Bank Forum in Frankfurt. The award was given to representatives of our Crédit Agricole CIB’s expertise on site: Roland Schlich, Head of International Trade & Transaction Banking, Germany & Austria and Guido Berning, Director Export Finance, Germany & Austria.

Global Finance, founded in 1987, has a circulation of 50,000 and readers in 193 countries and territories. It has named the 24th annual World’s Best Trade Finance Providers in 100 countries, territories and districts in an exclusive survey. The editorial review board of Global Finance selected the best trade finance providers based on entries from banks and other providers, as well as input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts. Criteria for choosing the winners included transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, and innovative technologies.

This new prize awarded to ITB/Export Finance is a proof of our solid footprint in an international market that is undergoing major geopolitical changes, and of the confidence that major industry, sovereign stakeholders as well as borrowers, can place in our Bank.
