Calyon involved in the largest IPO since the start of 2009

On December 3, 2009, Calyon assisted CFAO (previously known as Compagnie Française de l’Afrique Occidentale) in its initial public offering on Euronext Paris. Calyon acted as the transaction’s bookrunner, lead bank and overall coordinator alongside BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs International and Société Générale CIB.

Newedge launches India office, Newedge Broker India Private Limited

In November 2009, Newedge launched Newedge Broker India Private Limited, a securities company based in Mumbai. The company is initially focused on providing financial derivatives and cash equities to institutional foreign investors.
