In 2011 Crédit Agricole committed to the Reforest'Action programme, a solidarity project to stop deforestation in the Fatik region in Senegal. Different wood species were planted to meet biodiversity: jatropha (biofuel, vegetable oil), eucalyptus (building materials) or fruit trees. 300 producer families were involved. Nearly 33,000 trees were planted by the Group and around 900 employees participated in this campaign of solidarity.
In 2012, Crédit Agricole has renewed its commitment to Reforest'Action. To plant a tree, please click here.
