The Transactional Commodity Finance business line opens a new platform in Shanghai
The Transactional Commodity Finance business line recently opened a new platform in Shanghai.
This opening marks a key milestone for the business line, which now provides:
- a fuller range of services,
- immediate and simplified access of tailored made transactional commodity financing services and solutions (including RMB lending): short term trade and pre-financing, structured inventory financing, borrowing base financing and related working capital to support underlying trade imports and exports to its customers in China.
Transactional Commodity Finance Shanghai start up is expected to grow and will extend its financing solutions to large and niche Chinese commodity groups and traders. It also provides intimate and up-to-date knowledge of local Chinese conditions to its global clients worldwide. In addition it offers risk management and hedging products through Crédit Agricole CIB’s derivative teams in China.
This new platform complements the Transactional Commodity Finance global network and accelerates its expansion and development in Asia, one of the most competitive and dynamic regions in the world.
