MOL and CEZ mandated Calyon for advising on strategic cooperation project in Hungary and Slovakia
Within the scope of the strategic cooperation set up in December 2007 leading European energy companies MOL and CEZ mandated Calyon for advising on strategic cooperation project - financing of gas power plants in Hungary and Slovakia on a non-recourse basis. The strategic cooperation agreed between CEZ and MOL in 2007 targets construction and operation of gas powered power plants in Central-Europe, namely in Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia to leverage opportunities in an attractive electricity market in Central and South Eastern Europe to the strategic benefit of both parties.
