Crédit Agricole CIB supports Pohjola Bank Group in its bond issue

In September 2010, Pohjola Bank issued a senior seven-year bond worth EUR 750 million, a benchmark size transaction in the euro market. Crédit Agricole CIB acted as joint bookrunner alongside Barclays, JP Morgan and Pohjola Bank.

This issue was oversubscribed:  the order book reached over EUR 1 billion. Over 90 investors from 19 different countries participated in this transaction and 34% of the total amount was French distribution.

This transaction is part of the Pohjola Bank’s annual funding program as the bank issues one to three such senior bond transactions per year.
