Crédit Agricole CIB supports Alerion Clean Power SpA in the financing of a solar plant
Crédit Agricole CIB acted as mandated lead arranger for a EUR 46 million project financing in favour of Castellaneta Solar Srl, a subsidiary indirectly owned by Alerion Clean Power SpA. Crédit Agricole CIB has been the originator and driver of this project since the structuring phase.
This transaction is due to finance a new solar plant construction in the south west of Italy. This 14 MW photovoltaic power plant should be able to save 11,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year. The project is expected to be operational by the end of 2010.
