Crédit Agricole CIB in Belgium participated as mandated lead arranger in Tessenderlo syndicated loan, with a final take of EUR 43.5 million. The committed EUR 500 million syndicated facilities have maturities up to three years.

Following an oversubscription in syndication, the final facility amount was increased from launch amount of EUR 450 million to EUR 500 million. The proceeds of the facilities will be used for general corporate purposes.

Mel de Vogue, CFO of Tessenderlo Group, said: “The syndicated facilities represent a new debt structure for the Group and support our business plan. I would like to recognise the strong cooperation with our core banks, and the efforts of all involved to ensure this outcome.”

Tessenderlo is a company listed on the Brussels stock exchange, operating in three sectors - chemicals, plastics converting and specialities, and present in 20 countries.
