Crédit Agricole CIB finances the purchase of five B737-800 by Aviation Capital Group
In June 2010, Crédit Agricole CIB closed a USD 190.5 million financing in the capital markets for Aviation Capital Group. This financing allows the client to purchase five Boeing 737-800. Crédit Agricole CIB acted as joint bookrunner and joint structuring agent.
The deal was structured as an Eximbond entirely guaranteed by the US Ex-Im BankEx-Im Bank (Export-Import Bank of the United States) is the US export credit agency.
Its objective is to support and promote exports of US products across the world's markets. It was created by decree in 1934 by President Roosevelt. Its specific mission consists of proposing guarantees, loans and insurance policies on exports of US goods and services.

This financing is the result of closely cooperation between Debt & Credit Markets and Structured Finance teams in New York. This is the fifth Eximbond closed by Crédit Agricole CIB.
