Crédit Agricole CIB acts in Banque Saudi Fransi first bond issue ever
Crédit Agricole CIB acted as global coordinator and joint bookrunner for the USD 650 million bond issued by Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF). The bond will mature in 2015.
First bond ever issued by BSF, it met with great success from investors all around the world. It is also a significant issue as it is the first in Saudi Arabia since the crisis.
Philippe Touchard, BSF Chief Financial Officer, said: “This transaction is a benchmark for the entire Saudi Arabian finance sector. Not only is it the first issue in Saudi Arabia since the crisis but it has come out with a very attractive pricing”.
BSF, 31%-owned by Crédit Agricole CIB, is the sixth-largest bank in Saudi Arabia by assets.
