Calyon supports Fortis in its EUR 13 billion Capital increase
Calyon supported Fortis in its EUR 13 billion Capital increase launched to finance the acquisition of ABN AMRO. The Rights issue was a huge success. This is the largest capital increase ever done in Europe. It is the first significant ECM transaction with a financial institution in the Benelux market for Calyon, sole French bank in the syndicate.
