Calyon mandated for the financing of six Airbus A330-300 Aircraft for Thai Airways International PCL
Calyon and BNP Paribas have received a mandate from Thai Airways International PCL to arrange the European Export Credit Financing of six new Airbus A330-300 aircraft to be delivered to the airline between the third quarter 2009 and the first quarter 2010. The financing will be denominated in EUR and will be for a maximum amount of USD 600 million and a tenor of 12 years.
The Arrangers are providing Thai Airways with a very competitive and cost-effective solution which will bring additional support to Thai Airways’ Business Turnaround Plan. BNP Paribas and Calyon also act as Agent and Security Trustee.
The first delivery is due in July 2009.
