Calyon has been mandated bookrunner and joint lead manager for a EUR 600 million, 12-year bond issue for the Paris Transport Company, RATP (la Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens).

Investors oversubscribed the issue by EUR 1.4 billion, and the order book was closed very quickly. The maximum size of the deal was known from the start of the offer, and RATP was thus able to capture the enthusiasm for the subscription to obtain the narrowest possible exit spread. Over 80 investors participated in the deal in a vivid demonstration of the relevance and attractiveness of the RATP offer.

RATP is rated Aaa by Moody's Investors Service and AAA by Fitch Ratings.
