Calyon acted for Safran's bond issue
On November 2009, Calyon acted as joint bookrunner for a Safran bond issue.
The bond issue – the company's first - was for a total of EUR 750 million and had a five-year term (November 2014 maturity), with an annual coupon of 4%. Within an hour of opening the order book had exceeded EUR 2.3 billion.
This issue will enable Safran to diversify its financing sources and extend its average debt maturity as well as providing it with the resources it needs to continue growing. The funds raised by the issue will be used for the Group’s general expenses.
