Calyon acted as joint bookrunner on the Dexia Crédit Local EUR 3.5 billion 2-year government guaranteed benchmark.
In a quite challenging environment in the primary bond markets in March, Dexia benefited from a strong name recognition. It has been highlighted by the orderbook close to EUR 4 billion via 150 accounts, with a well balanced geographical distribution with two thirds of the transaction going to non domestic accounts.
Dexia is a European bank with a focus on Public and Wholesale Banking, providing local public finance actors with comprehensive banking and financial solutions. The bank also offers Retail and Commercial Banking services in Europe, mainly Belgium, Luxembourg and Turkey.
