August 2011 - Crédit Agricole CIB alongside Votorantim for a major refinancing
In August 2011, Crédit Agricole CIB acted as joint bookrunner and mandated lead arranger for the Votorantim USD 2.65 billion syndicated facilities. Twenty other banks took part in this successful transaction in a very difficult market.
The transaction contains:
- a USD 1.15 billion syndicated loan. Along the company’s traditional relationship banks, this deal counted on significant stakes from Japanese banks and newcomers from Europe and North America. Crédit Agricole CIB acted as joint bookrunner with a final allocation of USD 103 million.
- a USD 1.5 billion Revolving Credit Facility. Crédit Agricole CIB took a mandated lead arranger participation of USD 80 million.
