From November 14 to 18, 2011, Crédit Agricole CIB organised a series of events during Disabled Persons’ Employment Week. Photo exhibitions, quizzes, tastings, sales and workshops all provided an opportunity to raise employees’ awareness of the Crédit Agricole group’s policies as well as those of Crédit Agricole CIB.

 

The week closed with a presentation by Jean-Louis Da Costa, the Head of Resources and Development at AFM, the French Association against Myopathies. Within the context of the Bank’s partnership with the Financial Community’s Telethon, Mr. Da Costa presented the major areas of progress made and victories won in 25 years of fighting rare diseases.

 

Since 2005, a decisive policy of hiring disabled persons has been spearheaded by the Crédit Agricole human resources department and developed at Crédit Agricole CIB. Its objectives are two-pronged: hiring disabled workers and keeping them in their jobs, and raising the awareness of fellow employees, ensuring the involvement of managers and developing calls upon protected and adapted sectors.
