Crédit Agricole CIB India organised an auction during the annual staff party

The funds raised will go towards support to the Non Profitable Organisation Aseema Charitable Trust and the Kherwadi Municipal School

On nov 14th, Crédit Agricole CIB India organised a drawing competition during the Children’s Day at the Pali Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra. While younger children were conducting the art activity, the Crédit Agricole CIB India football team played against a group of very enthusiastic and agile teenagers.

This school presently educates 587 children from underprivileged backgrounds, and is managed by the Non Profitable Organisation Aseema Charitable Trust.

The 10 selected paintings were later auctioned during the annual staff party held on December 5, 2014. With a total of INR 309,000 (4100 €) collected through the auction, the funds raised will go towards support to Aseema in the form of 65 sets of tables and benches at their Kherwadi Municipal School.

Last years’ Annual Party donation to Umang Foundation by auctioning the drawings of the Sarasvati Hindi Vidyalaya school amounted INR 341,000 (4500€). Umang Foundation used it to distribute 10,426 stationery kits to school children from underprivileged backgrounds from 45 schools, on June 28th, 2014. This initiative by Umang created a National Record for distributing the highest number of stationery kits in a single day, from a single venue and will feature in the Limca Book of Records – 2015 edition.
