Crédit Agricole CIB in Turkey will be a sub-sponsor of the international classical automobiles endurance event "2010 Peking to Paris" which will be held from September 10th to October 16th. The race will start from Beijing, passing through China, Mongolia, Gobi Desert, Ulan Bator, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Samarkand, Turkmenistan, Iran, Tabriz, Turkey, Istanbul, Greece, Italy, France, ending at Triumphal Arch in Paris.

The Bank will support the Turkish team: Ahmet Sefik Ongun and Erdal Tokcan. They will drive a 1967 model Anadol.

The "Peking to Paris" race holds an important social responsibility purpose. Community Volunteers Foundation (Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfi - TOG) will use a substantial part of the sponsorship donations to grant scholarships to young university students between ages of 17 and 25. This is why Crédit Agricole CIB wanted to be part of this sportive and helpful race, which will allow to support 50 more students. In Turkey, TOG has provided students with conditional youth scholarship funds since 2003.

Community Volunteers is a social responsibility project aiming at the transformation of youth energy into community service through cross-cultural youth work. TOG believes that social peace, solidarity and change will get in realisation through the pioneering activities of young people.
