Crédit Agricole CIB celebrates its new identity and the Chinese New Year in Hong Kong

On February 3rd, 2010, Crédit Agricole CIB celebrated the launch of its new identity and the upcoming Chinese New Year in Hong Kong. Around 300 clients were present in a cocktail reception at Four Seasons Hotel.

Alain Massiera, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Patrice Couvegnes, Senior Regional Officer for Asia welcomed all the guests.

Patrice Couvegnes reminded the importance of this event for Crédit Agricole CIB, which is one of the oldest banks in Hong Kong and China. He also stressed the Chinese name would remain unchanged as it had been used since 1894, reflecting Crédit Agricole CIB’s continuous commitment on its on-going development in Hong Kong and China.

Alain Massiera insisted on the Crédit Agricole CIB’s continuous development and commitment in Asia. He said Asia is the second most important region after Europe for the Bank.

The event identity adopts a mix of today’s modern culture trend of environmental friendly practices and traditional Chinese culture. The identity included two elements: Bamboo in line with the message “Back to common sense” and Tiger, as the Chinese New Year is the Year of Tiger.
