In 2009, Crédit Agricole CIB was awarded by several financial magazines for its Debt & Credit markets’ capabilities and achievements in the bond markets.

It received the following awards:

• One of the « Deal of the Year » by Credit Magazine and one award in the « Euro Bond » category by IFR  Magazine for ArcelorMittal EUR 3.5 billion bond issue,
• An award in the « Islamic Bond » category by IFR Magazine for the Central Bank of Bahrain USD 750 million Islamic bond issue,
• « Deal of the Year » in the « Euro supranational/Agency » category and 4th place in the « Best Overall » category by Euroweek Magazine for the World Bank EUR 3 billion bond issue,
• 1st place in the « Euro Sovereign » category by Euroweek for the Republic of Italy EUR 6 billion bond issue.

In 2009, the Debt & Credit Markets product line was ranked:

• No. 6 bookrunner for all bonds in Euros, Worldwide (Thomson Reuters),
• No. 5 bookrunner for all corporate bonds in Euros, Worldwide (Thomson Reuters),
• No. 1 bookrunner for all supranational bonds, Worldwide (Thomson Reuters),
• No. 3 bookrunner for all sovereigns, agencies and supranational bonds in Euros, Worldwide (Thomson Reuters).
