Calyon earns IFR Review recognition for its syndication market achievements
Calyon won two prizes awarded by IFR Review in December 2009:
- “Emerging EMEAEurope, the Middle East and Africa Loan House of the Year”,
- “Latin American Loan House of the Year”
Jean-François Balay, Head of Syndication, noted “These prizes are the just reward for Calyon’s commitment alongside its clients worldwide. Today the Bank is recognised for its ability to offer multi-product solutions in highly challenging markets.”
Calyon put in an excellent performance in the EMEA syndication market in 2009. Building on its expertise in loan syndication and specialised financing, the Bank strengthened its leadership position in this market.
Calyon also coordinated the structuring of two Forward Start Facilities (FSF) for ArcelorMittal, for which it won the “European Loan of the Year” award.
