CA Cheuvreux wins the SIIC Trophy for the "Best real estate analyst"
In December 2009, CA Cheuvreux was awarded the SIIC “best analyst” Trophy for listed real estate investment companies. The Trophy, presented to Bruno Duclos, is given in recognition of the performance of buy recommendations which reached 64.5% over one year (from October 1, 2008, to September 30, 2009).
Bruno Duclos, who coordinates a team of five analysts in Europe, notes that “these performances confirm that the sector, which is known for recurring revenues and its de-correlation with stock markets over the medium term, is also, thanks to its liquidity, able to attract investors favoring short-term strategies.” Of particular importance were the recommendations delivered since June as (for example, those relative to Klépierre and Icade shares) which made it possible for CA Cheuvreux to differentiate itself from its competitors and confirm the perspicacity of its recommendations.
Laurent Poinsot, Head of French Research at CA Cheuvreux, sees in this award “recognition for a ‘multi-local’ team and strategy whereby analysts benefit from their geographical proximity to the companies they track”.
The “best analyst” Trophy, organised for the fourth consecutive year by the French federation of real estate and property companies (FSIF), is based on the quantitative ranking of the recommendations made by financial analysts.
