CA Cheuvreux’s eighth annual German Corporate Conference was held at the Villa Kennedy hotel in Frankfurt from 19 to 21 January 2009. Despite the current economic context, investors and listed companies attended this event in large numbers again this year.

390  institutional investors and 87 German large and mid cap companies were present at the conference, and over 1,000 one-on-one meetings were organised.

Furthermore, during the conference, Christopher Potts, Head of Economics & Strategy at CA Cheuvreux delivered his analysis of the economic outlook for 2009: “There are optimists who think that a new bull market has already begun. It is difficult to find anyone who is so pessimistic that they think that market decline will extend beyond 2009.”
