When I got graduated from Columbia University, I decided to join a leading bank in the area of sales and structuring. I put Calyon in the top 3 targeted banks to work for. During the interviews I became fascinated by the drive, professional attitude and kindness of the people I met. It did not take much time to convince me that Calyon was the place where I wanted to start my professional life. One year ago, I joined the Interest Rate Derivatives sales team covering Middle East and North Africa (MENAMiddle East and North Africa) in Paris. Since then, I have appreciated working and learning with some of the most professional actors in the market in a friendly ambiance.

My job is to cover clients over the MENA region for Interest Rate Derivatives products. I talk to clients all the day to get information concerning their investment and hedging strategies. Once we have the accurate information, I start structuring the right products matching the client’s needs, according to market conditions.

After only one year at Calyon, and after having acquired an expertise in Interest Rate Derivatives, I have the opportunity to work in another office in the Middle East to get my own clients and to be completely autonomous. This is a rare opportunity for a junior that only Calyon could provide me with.
