I work in the Market Risk department for the Middle East. My main role is to follow the Profits and Losses (PnL) and risk levels of the Bank treasury portfolios on a daily basis, by producing reports and analysis for Bahrain treasury dealers. All figures provided to the front office are explained by analysing the market fluctuations and the exposure of the portfolios to several risk factors.

 

As I work in a strategic position between back office and front office, my function requires a certain level of rigor and diplomacy. A good sense of communications is as well appreciated.

Calyon in the Middle East is a multicultural team, hardworking and in the same time enjoying all together the free time. We meet each other outside, make sports on the week ends and so on. Relationships with colleagues are at the same time professional and friendly. This is one of the most important points to let everybody feel good in one’s daily job.
