I have known for a while that I would not work in France, at least not as a beginning. I really wanted to acquire a first professional experience overseas, especially in Asia-Pacific because this is a very dynamic region where a lot still needs to be built and developed.
Everyday, I realize how enriching this experience is for me. It is particularly interesting to be able to work in an active economic environment and to evolve among a team of valuable members who teach me a lot.

From the start, I have been given the chance to work on various types of cases originated from different industries and countries (Hong-Kong, China, Taiwan, and Korea). This has allowed me to know more about the specificities of some markets as well as the macro-economic conditions of some countries.
Moreover, a point essential to me is the degree of autonomy that I have been able to acquire in Calyon. As a Junior Credit Manager I am fully involved in the credit decision process as I directly communicate with the other departments of the Bank. I am also required to participate to credit committees.

Calyon is a multi-cultural company that facilitates interactions between people from diverse backgrounds. It is especially true in the Regional Risk Division of Calyon Hong Kong which counts close to 7 nationalities. I have been able to develop friendly relationships with some colleagues and I have always felt well-integrated to the team. This is something I appreciate a lot.
