Prior to joining Calyon, I looked for an international company with a global reputation. I was looking for a place capable of offering me not only the opportunity to fulfill my intellectual curiosity but also to further develop my previously acquired professional skills.

Furthermore, I was eager on finding a position capable of offering continuous education.

Laslty, I considered essential to work with people that could contribute to make the experience of working in Calyon a personally as well as professionally rewarding one.

After almost three years working in Calyon I can honestly and gladly affirm that Calyon unites a good combination of the aforementioned features. For instance, Calyon encourages us to broaden our skills by spending time in other parts of its business or even in other regions.

Therefore, I would say to my friends: do not put aside your working place expectations and let Calyon surprise you.

As a member of the Structured Finance Pool department and among other tasks my day to day responsibilities are:

- developing financial offers to secure financing and advisory client mandates (including debt sizing calculation, main term and conditions, legal documentation), 
- screening potential transactions,
- modeling during all different stages of the transactions,
- supporting the Structured Finance team in the internal process approvals, including the elaboration of the credit applications and the surveillance and fulfillment of all internal documents,
- coordinating with relevant business lines and other MO activities,
- executing secured mandates through the due diligence process, in close contact with client and external advisors.
