Our commitments

Gender equality, diversity, opportunities for disabled jobseekers, and respect for the environment. Crédit Agricole CIB is a committed and responsible employer.

A responsible employer

Crédit Agricole CIB wants to reflect the broad diversity within our company. We do everything we can to ensure that every employee is treated equally in terms of recruitment, opportunities, career development and remuneration.

FReD is Crédit Agricole S.A.'s plan for establishing progress in corporate social responsibility. As part of FReD, Crédit Agricole CIB has set out action plans covering social, economic and environmental development over the next three years. A progress index is calculated each year to measure the progress made by each Group entity. These indices are linked to the variable remuneration paid to the Group's managers.

Our goal is to enhance the sustainable employability and autonomy of people with a disability. To achieve this, we employ measures to raise awareness and help keep disabled people in employment. As an example, these include the adaptation of work stations, the use of new technologies, and specific assistance to optimising career development.
Many events are organized to sensitize our employees including the ‘health prevention days’ and the week for the employment of people with a disability that was held for the 8th edition at the end of 2016.

Gender equality

As part of our policy to promote professional equality between men and women, we have set ambitious targets in the areas of recruitment, promotion and remuneration and in increasing the presence of women within our management.
Since 2013, an annual event, the Gender Diversity Week, allows us to present to our employees our commitments and the actions we are implementing in Crédit Agricole CIB.

Crédit Agricole CIB's management also supports the company's network for women, Potentielles, which celebrated its 6th anniversary in 2016. Potentielles is one of the founding members of Financi'elles, the federation of "women in management" networks in the banking, financial and insurance sectors in France. Other local initiatives have also emerged as ‘SPRING’ in London, ‘Potentielles’ in New York and ‘CWEEN’ in India.

Crédit Agricole CIB is taking action


The “Solidaires by Credit Agricole CIB” programme allows members of staff to be involved in the voluntary sector in several ways:

- By taking part in one-off convivial solidarity events like the Financial Community’s Telethon in Paris, the Oxfam TrailWalker in Hong-Kong or the Solidaires Days during which many initiatives are launched to help the group’s partner associations.

- By getting involved with associations and volunteering for charitable missions or through the “Coups de Pouce” (Helpful Nudges) scheme that grants subsidies of up to 3,000€ to members of staff to support a project of their own association.
