Crédit Agricole CIB set up a representative office in Tel Aviv in 2000. The Bank offers financing and investment banking products to its Israeli clientele, as well as its international clients active in the country. This is made possible mainly through its European platforms and the close coordination with a dedicated Senior Banker based in Paris.
Crédit Agricole Suisse (Private Banking) and Crédit Agricole Private Equity also set up an office in Tel Aviv.
Crédit Agricole CIB's strengths
Crédit Agricole CIB offers its worldwide network and the expertise of its specialised business lines to Israeli leading corporates as well as major local financial institutions, for their activities in Israel and abroad.
The representative office mostly focuses on project finance, multi-source export credits, trade finance, investment banking and capital markets (forex, interest rate and currency derivatives and structured products).
Crédit Agricole CIB also assists the Bank’s major international customers active in Israel by providing expertise on the local environment and tailor-made financing solutions.
In 2007, Crédit Agricole CIB was appointed as mandated lead arranger for the first foreign currency denominated Project Finance (EUR 311 million) related to Hadera desalination project. Since then, the Bank has managed to position on many strategic projects in the fields of power and infrastructure.

Located in Paris, the Crédit Agricole Group International Liaison Desk assists Crédit Agricole's mid-cap corporate customers with their international operations, by providing expertise on the local environment as well as by securing access to a wide spectrum of banking services abroad.
