In May 2007, Calyon in Algeria received the agreement to operate as an Algerian bank. This new status opens the local market to Calyon clients doing business with or investing in Algeria.
Calyon's strengths
Calyon in Algeria has developed close relations with financial institutions, the Algerian subsidiaries of existing customers and private and public-sector import companies. These strengths are now enabling Calyon to provide effective support to its customers in the Algerian market.
