Crédit Agricole CIB created a sentiment index for the covered bond market which aims to capture the current situation and expectations of issuers and investors over the next three months. It is the first and only financial institution to date to provide this type of index.

Overall investor/issuer situation indices stand at 5.1/5.6 (on a scale from 0–10) in April 2011 with the expectations for the next three months hinting at a slight deterioration for both groups.
