Calyon takes part in the bond issue staged by Caisse Centrale du Crédit Immobilier de France

On January 14, 2010, Calyon acted for Caisse Centrale du Crédit Immobilier de France (3CIF) in the issue of a five-year EUR 750 million bond with a coupon of 3.75%.

Calyon acted as the co-lead bank together with BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse and LBBW.

The bond issue met with considerable success despite the abundant supply of issues on the primary market early in the year. The order book quickly passed the EUR 1 billion mark testifying to the confidence of the mostly foreign investors.

This transaction is part of the group’s financing program that also includes the issue of secured debt.

3CIF was acting on behalf of the Crédit Immobilier de France group, a major player in the French mortgage market.

The mandate is a witness to the quality of the relations between Calyon and the Crédit Immobilier de France group.
