A worldwide organisation

Organised as a global business line its professionals are distributed amongst two centres of expertise:

  • The Origination group is organised into geographical areas with about one hundred professionals. Each team serves all the clients within its area of expertise whether importers, exporters or investors wishing to hedge part of the country / counterparty risk involved in their foreign trade operations. The synergy between the teams ensures, on the one hand, an comprehensive knowledge of an exporter, an investor or a credit insurance (or equivalent) company in a country of origin and, on the other hand, a suitable knowledge of the importer’s country. This unit uses the technical competence of the Products and Structuring team.

  • A Products and Structuring group with about forty specialists. Their mission is to develop and promote the product line’s expertises in close liaison with the originating teams. As experts in their respective areas (export finance, multilateral finance, forfaiting, trade finance products, private insurance, etc.), they are involved upstream and all along the preparation of transactions (from advisory right through to arrangement). They thus contribute to the adapted and innovative character of the solutions proposed by the originators to their clients. A team is particularly dedicated to the negotiation and preparation of the documentation of export finance operations. Lastly, a dedicated team is responsible for the active management and monitoring of our asset portfolio.
