Overseas, Crédit Agricole CIB is in the wealth management business under the unified Crédit Agricole Private Banking brand name. Through its various entities, the private banking unit provides a vast choice of investment services and products and an international network extending to more than 20 countries.

A global approach to wealth management

International Private Banking offers the individual investor one stop banking in the area of wealth management in the major international financial centres.

This activity requires the stringent implementation and coordination of many diverse competencies especially adapted to this clientele’s needs and demands:

  • estate and tax planning,
  • asset management,
  • selection of optimal investment products within an open platform,

A strong international presence

With more than EUR 115 billion in assets under management, International Private Banking is present in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America through the following entities:
  • Crédit Agricole (Suisse) S.A. whose main business has been wealth management for more than 130 years,
  • Crédit Agricole Luxembourg which plays a leading role in the development of the Luxembourg financial market,
  • Crédit Foncier de Monaco (CFM) which is the Principality’s oldest and largest bank with a 12% market share,
  • In Spain, through a dedicated unit within Crédit Agricole CIB. The Crédit Agricole Group has been present in Spain since 1981. With the 2004 combination of Crédit Agricole Indosuez and Crédit Lyonnais (which had been present in Spain since the 19th century), the group became one of the main foreign players in the Spanish market,
  • Crédit Agricole Brasil Private Capital Management, an asset management company with operations in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Ribeirao Preto dedicated to serving a private clientele of entrepreneurs,
  • Crédit Agricole Miami Private Banking, for Latin American clients, is a significant player in the Miami market and provides dedicated financial services in the United States to non-resident private clients.
