Crédit Agricole CIB receives a Deal of the Year 2011 award by Airfinance Journal

In April 2012, Airfinance Journal presented the "Joint Asia-Pacific Deal of the Year 2011" to Crédit Agricole CIB. This Deal of the Year rewards the financing of five Airbus A380s for Korean Air, with a European export credit closed in cooperation with Citi, Kfw and SMBC.
"Despite a difficult market in 2011, we have been present in all aviation financing fields, from export credits to capital markets products including euro-denominated Exim bonds, as well as in advisory activities. We are proud of our participation in several ‘premieres’ like the first issue in euros guaranteed by the US Ex-Im BankEx-Im Bank (Export-Import Bank of the United States) is the US export credit agency.
Its objective is to support and promote exports of US products across the world's markets. It was created by decree in 1934 by President Roosevelt. Its specific mission consists of proposing guarantees, loans and insurance policies on exports of US goods and services.
